Meet Principal, Cindy Calderón - International Zumba® Instructor.

After being coached by Zumba®  Founder, Beto Perez in Miami 2008, Cindy pioneered Zumba Fitness in Perth in 2009. Cindy completed an Instructor’s Master Class which is twice as demanding as a standard instructors’ class and is the only instructor in Australia to have been trained at that level and by Beto Perez.

Cindy hosted the first International ZES (Canadian ZUMBA® Educational Specialist) Jaime Farfan in Perth 2010 for 3 Perth instructor trainings, has trained in New York and Paris and taught ZUMBA®  in South America and Switzerland in 2010.  2011 will bring Cindy and the Salsa Viva Dance team the opportunity to host the incredibly talented Aust/N.Z. ZES Maria Teresa Stone for some specialty Zumba® training.

At the Australian Fitness Expo 2010 Cindy participated in many Zumba® demos with world recognised ZES Gina Grant and Aust/NZ ZES Maria Teresa Stone and other Australian instructors.

Cindy has ten years experience in Salsa Dance and ran a Salsa Dance business in South America for two and a half years where she was the first Australian to instruct at Suriname’s International Salsa and Zouk Festival in 2007. Cindy has nationally-accredited dance Diplomas undertaken in the birthplace of Cuban Salsa under the direction of the legends of Cuban Salsa - Professor Rafael Navarro and Professor Mayra Gonzáles Ramirez in Havana and Santiago de Cuba. She has worked with some of the world's leading Street Latin and Salsa Dancers including the UK's León Rose, Mambo Mike, Taiti & Cristel, Marlon & Sofi, Vanessa Mambi, Femke & Manoah, Brian & Mechteld from Europe and the Netherlands, Adilio & Renate from Brazil and Australians Juan Rando, Amanda Metcalf, Simon Fryda, Damiano Cirranna, Lianne Carroll and Liliana Sputore.

Class Details:

Due to popularity of all classes, we recommend you arrive 15 minutes early to secure your place and enroll.

Your safety, comfort and enjoyment are our priority. Salsa Viva Dance assures quality instruction in all classes without overcrowding.

All class payments are administered by Salsa Viva Dance 15 minutes prior to class commencement times.

Conditions:

Participants new to ZUMBA® can sample a class on the day for only $18 of invigorating fun!

Participants need to be 12 years or older and those under 16 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Savings!

5 lesson punch cards can be purchased for only $70 (valued at $90, saving you 30%) valid for 2 months 

10 lesson punch cards can be purchased for only $130 (valued at $180, saving you 20%) valid for 4 months 

20 lesson punch cards can be purchased for only $220 (valued at $360, saving you 35%) valid for 6 months 

Punchcards can be used at any of our listed classes and are valid for 2, 4 and 6 months from the date of purchase (please refer above).
